Festival

The 12th edition of Booty Rave Festival will take place on Friday, September 6th, and Saturday, September 7th, 2024, at the stunning Otterschalen in Kasterlee. We recommend setting Dijkvoorten 3, 2460 Kasterlee on the GPS device to easily reach the festival site.

The camping area opens at 4 pm on Friday, while the festival site opens at 8 pm. On Saturday, the festival site opens at 2 pm.

Booty Rave is a two-day festival in a location like no other. An idyllic scene, hidden between green forests and picturesque meadows. The ambitious goal of the organisation: to transform this place into an inspiring oasis of musical solidarity every year. Booty Rave Festival offers a varied and broad repertoire of new talents and fixed acts, both from Belgium and abroad. In addition to a strong musical line-up and a well-thought-out look and feel, Booty Rave has an extra asset: our well-known 'Drinks Included concept'. The perfect formula to conclude your festival summer.

Booty Rave Festival is open to attendees aged 16 and above on the day of the festival.

Photographers and camera crews will be present at Booty Rave, so there is a chance of being photographed or filmed during the event.

Booty Rave Festival is organized by the non-profit organization Strauwntsound.

During festival hours, please visit the merch desk on-site for lost mobile phones or wallets. On Sunday, there will be a dedicated lost and found stand at the campsite. To reclaim lost items after the festival, please email info@strauwntsound.be. Found objects will be held for one week, after which valuable items will be handed over to the local police in Kasterlee.

Tickets

Combi tickets for the festival cost € xxx, while Friday tickets are priced at €xx and Saturday tickets at € xxx. Camping and drinks are included in the ticket prices.

Please purchase your tickets exclusively through our official website. We cannot guarantee the authenticity of tickets bought elsewhere, and the organization will not be responsible for any potential fraud.

Food & Drinks

Food stands will be available on both the festival site and campsite. On the campsite, you can make payments with cash or card, while on the festival site, only card payments will be accepted at our food stands.

Drinks on the festival site are included in your ticket and will not require any additional payment. At the campsite, a drinks stand will be available, and you can make payments using cash or card.

You are welcome to bring your own drinks to the festival site, as long as they are not in glass containers.

Camping

Absolutely! You are welcome to bring your own tent to our campsite, conveniently located within walking distance of the festival site. Our campsite offers essential amenities such as toilets, running water, and showers. Additionally, our dedicated camping crew provides an "anti-hangover" breakfast and fresh coffee to start your day. Please note that all transactions at the campsite must be paid in cash.

Unfortunately, camping in the forest is not allowed. However, we provide a cozy campsite nestled within a beautiful wooded area. This designated camping area ensures a more enjoyable experience for all attendees. Rest assured that camping is included in the ticket price.

Absolutely! Regardless of the type of ticket you have, including one-day tickets, you are granted access to the campsite.

Yes, if you possess a ticket for Saturday, you are permitted to access the campsite on Friday as well.

Regrettably, there are no storage facilities available on the campsite. Therefore, we recommend avoiding the bring expensive items or belongings that require storage. Please leave speakers and sound systems at home.

Unfortunately, we do not have the necessary facilities to accommodate mobile homes or caravans at the campsite.

The campsite will close at 12 noon (midday) on Sunday, September 8th, 2024.

Transport

Free parking is provided near the festival grounds, and a designated kiss & ride zone is available in close proximity to the festival site. To reach us from Antwerpen & Eindhoven, take the E34 and exit at Turnhout Centrum, then follow the signs to Kasterlee/Geel. Upon reaching Kasterlee, follow the signposting to the festival. If you're coming from Hasselt, take the E313 and exit at Geel West, then follow the signs to Kasterlee/Turnhout. Once again, follow the signposting to the festival upon arrival in Kasterlee. For satellite navigation, use the address BOEKWEITBAAN 40, 2460 KASTERLEE.

If you're arriving by train, you can alight at Herentals, Geel, or Turnhout. From there, take a bus to the center of Kasterlee and get off at the Pellemanstraat bus stop. Follow the signposting to the festival from there. Here are the bus details: From Herentals: Take bus 305 towards Turnhout. From Geel: Take bus 490 or 492 towards Turnhout. From Turnhout: Take bus 305 towards Leuven/Herentals or bus 490 & 492 towards Aarschot

We offer a dedicated bicycle parking zone at the festival site. Upon arrival in Kasterlee, simply follow the signposting to the festival.

First Aid

Yes, we have a dedicated first aid stand that operates 24/7. You can find it in the small building on the campsite. Our stewards and security personnel will be readily available to guide you in the right direction.

Other Frequently Asked Questions

At Booty Rave Festival, we prioritize adhering to statutory noise standards. However, we strongly recommend wearing ear protection at all times to safeguard your hearing. Free earplugs are also provided at the festival site for your convenience.

Unauthorized entry to the backstage area is strictly prohibited. Individuals found without proper authorization will have their festival bands cut and removed, and further access will be denied. In case of any damage or theft, appropriate authorities will be promptly notified.

Out of respect for the environment, distributing flyers is not allowed on the festival site.
