Booty Rave Festival ends after 12 editions: time for reflection and future plans
After twelve unforgettable editions, we at StrauwntSound vzw have made the difficult but well-considered decision not to organize a new edition of Booty Rave Festival in 2025. This decision follows a thorough reflection on the future of our organization.
Instead of clinging to a formula that is increasingly under pressure and threatens the future of the organization, we choose to redirect our energy, creativity, and resources toward forward-looking plans—plans that, like Booty Rave once did, can surprise, connect, and inspire.
A swift and complete refund of all previously sold tickets is, of course, guaranteed. Refunds will be transferred no later than Wednesday, August 13 to the account used for the purchase.
Booty Rave Festival was born in 2012 from the enthusiasm of a group of young friends in Kasterlee and quickly grew into a staple of the festival scene. With a carefully curated lineup of alternative music, a unique forested setting, and the bold “drinks included” concept, we welcomed a loyal and enthusiastic audience year after year. What began as a small adventure became a mature and distinctive festival with national impact.
We would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who made Booty Rave possible: the hundreds of volunteers, artists, partners, suppliers, municipal services, and of course the audience. Your energy, support, and love made the festival what it was. Booty Rave was never just a festival—it was a vibe, a community, an experience that shaped us both as an organization and as individuals.
This step does not necessarily mark the end. With this decision, we preserve the capacity to build new initiatives in the future as StrauwntSound vzw. Booty Rave ends, but the fire continues to burn.
